Lina Limosani

Lina began her dance training at the Box Hill college of TAFE, Melbourne, before travelling to the UK, where she undertook a year's professional training at the Thamesdown Dance Studios, Swindon.  During her time in the UK, Lina worked with RJC Dance Theatre.

On returning to Australia she attended the Victorian College of the Arts and graduated in 1999, having worked with artists such as Brett Daffy, Phillip Adams and Simone Clifford.

Lina Joined Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) in March 2000, and has since performed in Nothing, The Age of Unbeauty, Birdbrain, Plastic Space, Attention deficit Therapy and Held.  She created "It's not 4 me", "Oh what fun it is to...", "Blind Spot" and "This Time..." for the in-house choreographic seasons of Ignition over the past four years.  In 2003 she was awarded the Emerging Artist award by the Adelaide Critics Circle for her works in Ignition.  Lina was also recently nominated for a Green Room award for her performance of The Age Of Unbeauty at the Melbourne Festival 2003

In 2004 Lina choreographed T'Was the night Before Christmas for the South Australian Children's Ballet Company.

Lina is currently performing with the ADT in Europe
