Welcome

The South Australian Children’s Ballet Company (SACBC) provides talented young Adelaide dancers with the opportunity to perform a variety of dance styles and to introduce the world of classical and modern dance to younger audiences.

After a successful season performing Paul Boyd’s The Little Mermaid, we are preparing for our Fringe performances of Cinderella the Untold Story on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th March 2024. Fringe tickets on sale now.

The South Australian Children's Ballet Company has done it again! 'Cinderella - The Untold Story' is a fabulous performance that any budding dancers, lovers of princesses or fairytales will enjoy. It's Cinderella, but not as you know it!”

“Seeing the SA Children's Ballet Company (SACBC) perform each year is always one of my Fringe highlights”

Under the expert guidance of Miss Beverley Waters, the Company has been training and encouraging young dancers for over 30 years, many of whom have gone on to a career in dance.

It is with deep sadness that we have farewelled Miss Waters, as she passed away peacefully on Monday 21st November 2022. For the last 36 years Beverley has been our dedicated Artistic Director with tireless energy and vision to bring a multitude of productions to stage. All the while creating a love of dance in our young audiences and company members. The many dancers that have been lucky enough to have experienced Beve’s passion for Ballet will forever keep her memory alive. We will keep dancing for Beve as the show will go on.

We would like to thank Cheryl Bradley for stepping into Beve’s role as Artistic Director. Cheryl is generously helping out the SACBC family and keeping Beve’s legacy alive.
